12th World Conference on Lung Cancer

The 12th World Conference on Lung Cancer highlighted important advances in lung cancer in the areas of prevention, early detection, molecular biology, biotechnology and therapy. There were over 4,880 conference participants from 84 countries. Industry support played an important role in the success of the 2007 meeting with exceptionally high sponsorship and the meeting participants included surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pulmonologists, radiologists, pathologists, epidemiologist, basic research scientists and allied health professionals whom are committed to prevention, detection and therapy of lung cancer.
